If you have the Chase Sapphire Reserve® - Product Name Only or Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card - Product Name Only, there's a new opportunity to earn up to 10x Chase Ultimate Rewards® points on Peloton purchases.

This isn't the first time we've seen a Peloton promotion from Chase. In 2021, there was a similar deal, but the minimum purchase amount was much higher, so this time around it's a lot easier to take advantage of.

Here's what to know about the new Chase Sapphire Peloton promo.

We're focused here on the rewards and perks that come with each card. These cards won't be worth it if you're paying interest or late fees. When using a credit card, it's important to pay your balance in full each month, make payments on time, and only spend what you can afford to pay.

Earn up to 10x points on Peloton purchases with Chase Sapphire cards

Now through March 2025, Chase Sapphire Reserve® - Editorial Name Only and Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card - Editorial Name Only cardholders can earn bonus points on eligible Peloton purchases. Here's how it works:

  • Chase Sapphire Reserve® - Editorial Name Only: Earn 10x points on Peloton equipment and accessory purchases of $250 or more, up to a maximum earn of 50,000 points
  • Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card - Editorial Name Only: Earn 5x points on Peloton equipment and accessory purchases of $250 or more, up to a maximum earn of 25,000 points

It's important to note that Peloton's all-access memberships, app memberships, and apparel purchases do not qualify for the bonus points, even if the charge is over $250. The only Peloton items that qualify are the Peloton Bike, Peloton Bike+, Peloton Tread, Peloton Row, and Peloton Guide. That said, if you're already in the market for one of these products, you could walk away with a substantial stash of points.

For example:

  • Peloton Bikes start at $1,445 (including free delivery and setup). If you paid with the Chase Sapphire Reserve® - Editorial Name Only, you'd earn 14,450 points (10x); with the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card - Editorial Name Only, you'd earn 7,225 points.
  • A Peloton Bike+ starts at $2,495, which translates to 24,950 points with the Chase Sapphire Reserve® - Editorial Name Only or 12,475 points with the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card - Editorial Name Only
  • Peloton Treads start at $3,495, so you'd earn 34,950 points with the Chase Sapphire Reserve® - Editorial Name Only or 17,475 points with the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card - Editorial Name Only
  • Peloton Guides start at $295, so with the Chase Sapphire Reserve® - Editorial Name Only you'd net 2,950 points; the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card - Editorial Name Only would earn 1,475 points
  • Peloton Rows start at $3,195, so you could earn 31,950 points with the Chase Sapphire Reserve® - Editorial Name Only or 15,975 points with the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card - Editorial Name Only

Considering that Chase Ultimate Rewards points are worth 1.8 cents each, on average, based on Insider's points and miles valuations, this is a very healthy rate of return. For instance, a Peloton Bike purchased with the Chase Sapphire Reserve® - Editorial Name Only would earn 14,450 points, worth around $260 in travel according to Insider's valuations.
