- Iran unveiled an underground air force base called "Eagle 44" for the 44th anniversary of the Iranian revolution.

As part of the celebrations for the 44th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, Iran unveiled an underground air force base, dubbed "Eagle 44", which, according to Iranian news agencies, is the first of this kind large enough to host fighter jets, bombers and drones.
