If you walked by Papaianni Park in New Jersey recently, you might have stumbled across quite the spectacle — around 100 Tesla cars performing a synchronized light show to the Oscar-winning song "Naatu Naatu."

A video of the light show, set to the popular song in the Indian film "RRR," was shared on Twitter Monday by business executive Vamsi Koppuravuri, who helped coordinate the light show and meet-up. The official "RRR" account also shared footage from the event, which has racked up over 8.8 million views.

"Naatu Naatu," which this year became the first song from an Indian film to win the Oscar for "Best Original Song," can be heard playing in the video as rows of Tesla car lights flash on and off to the beat.

The tweet from the "RRR" account also caught the attention of Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who responded to the tweet with two red heart emojis.

The tribute to the song was organized by the North American Seema Andhra Association and People Media Factory production company, according to the video. The light show concept was created by Vamsi Kopporavuri, and Ujwal Kumar Kasthala helped organize the event in less than a week after the song's Oscar win, the Times of India reported.

"Truly overwhelmed by this tribute to #NaatuNaatu from New Jersey," S.S. Rajamouli, who directed "RRR," tweeted out, along with a video showing the light show's set-up and performance. "It was a stunning show," he added.

Spokespeople from NASAA, People Media Factory, Kopporavuri, and Kasthala did not immediately respond to a request for comment ahead of publication.

Tesla's holiday update in December introduced the ability for Tesla owners to schedule and sync up their cars for light shows accompanied by music. The update was announced with a video showing Tesla cars synced to a rock rendition of the holiday song "Auld Lang Syne."

Tesla's light show functionality originally debuted with the Model X in 2016, which introduced the ability for the vehicles to perform light shows complete with moving car doors set to "Wizards in Winter" by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

Custom Tesla light show websites created by Tesla fans have also cropped up. The website TeslaLightShows.io allows users to upload and download free custom light shows from other Tesla owners.

To perform a light show, Tesla owners can follow similar set-up instructions as setting up Tesla's "Boombox" feature, per Tesla's website
