But there's still one critical problem on most buyers' minds: range anxiety.

Plug-in hybrids need charging and can typically drive up to 40 miles using only electricity. Conventional hybrids don't use plugs and are typically much cheaper, by comparison, but can still save significant gas mileage on city streets.
