Amazon is currently hosting deals for Samsung's latest Galaxy S23 phones, including the standard Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra, for a limited time.
The standard $800 Galaxy S23 is $100 off on Amazon, bringing its price down to $700. The Galaxy S23 Plus is $150 off, bringing its price down to $850. And the Galaxy S23 Ultra that typically costs $1,200 is down to $1,000 — that's $200 off, and the same regular price as the Galaxy S23 Plus.
These are great deals for the best Android phones you can buy in 2023 so far. Samsung's Galaxy S23 series offer better performance, battery life, and camera performance and reliability than its competitors. Overall, we'd recommend Samsung's Galaxy S23 phones over Google's Pixel 7 phones — the Google Pixel 7 is a good phone with excellent value, but the Google Pixel 7 Pro proved underwhelming.

Your carrier or Samsung may have a better trade-in deal
Before clicking the buy button on Amazon, you might actually get a better deal by trading in your old phone with Samsung or your carrier.
Carriers often have the best trade-in deals. For example, Verizon will offer you up to $400 for a phone as old as the 2016 Galaxy S7 — a significantly better deal than Amazon's $100 off for the Galaxy S23. For a newer phone like the Galaxy S10 5G, Verizon is offering up to $800 to trade-in, making the Galaxy S23 essentially free.

Going through a carrier often comes with contingencies, like subscribing to an eligible plan, or upgrading to an eligible plan if you're not already on one. If you're not trying to upgrade to an eligible plan, you could look to Samsung, which can also offer a better trade-in deal than Amazon.
Samsung will give you $110 for the Galaxy S7 in good condition, which is still a better deal than Amazon's $100 off for the Galaxy S23. And the newer your phone is, the better the trade-in value at Samsung.
