Tech, finance, and consulting firms dominated Glassdoor's list of the highest-paying internships of 2023.
  • Summer internship season is almost here, and some companies will be shelling out top dollar.
  • Glassdoor published a ranking of 25 companies with the highest average monthly base pay, based on survey responses.
  • Here's look at the Top 25 best-paying internships of 2023, according to Glassdoor.

With the academic year nearly over, many college students will spend the summer months doing internships. A new ranking from Glassdoor shows some can be incredibly lucrative — particularly in tech, finance, and consulting.

The anonymous workplace review site compiled a list of 25 companies with the best-paying internships, based on the highest average monthly base pay for interns as reported to Glassdoor by interns over the past year.

Companies had to have received 30 salary reports by US-based interns over the past year to be considered for the list.

The named companies didn't verify the salaries, and they might not be actively hiring for internships right now, but the salaries nonetheless offer a glimpse into the world of prestige positions with big-name companies.

For perspective, Glassdoor said the average intern in 2022 made $24.63 an hour. The highest-paying jobs on this list would pay more than double that.

Take a look at the top-paying internships of 2023, according to Glassdoor, based on surveys it's received:
