- Linda Yaccarino commented on a video of Ed Sheeran's concert that featured Eminem on Twitter.
- The Twitter CEO has previously posted pictures with celebrities like Miley Cyrus and Rami Malek.
- She's recently been busy as Twitter's competition with rival platform Threads has been heating up.
The competition between Twitter and Threads is becoming more intense but Twitter CEO Linda Yaccarino still had a moment to rave about an Ed Sheeran concert that took place on Saturday.
Ed Sheeran surprised fans at a concert in Detroit when he performed a cover of Eminem's "Lose Yourself" and was then joined by the rapper himself on stage. In a video posted on Twitter, Sheeran can be seen singing a rendition of the song with an acoustic guitar when Eminem comes out to continue the second verse as the crowd cheers.
It seems the two musicians' legion of fans at the concert were not the only ones impressed as Twitter's newest CEO commented on the video, leaving a fire emoji to show her support.
Yaccarino was a former advertising executive at media giant NBCUniversal for over 10 years and joined Twitter as CEO in June to lead its business operations — taking over from the billionaire owner of the company Elon Musk.
The advertising titan seems to enjoy the company of celebrities as pictures alongside singer Miley Cyrus and actor Rami Malek have appeared on her Instagram, which is now private but was previously seen by Insider.
Yaccarino was also known as a bit of a trendsetter at work with former staffers at NBCUniversal copying her fashion sense and mannerism, according to Fortune.
She is known for having a signature look of thick-framed glasses, colorful suits, and heels. Her Twitter bio makes mention of her interest in "industry progress," "provocative leadership," and "a good pair of shoes."
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg recently launched his text-based social media platform, Threads, which has been dubbed a Twitter copycat by Musk.
The popularity of the new app has riled Musk who has taken several swipes at Zuckerberg, while also pressing staff to come up with new ideas for Twitter. Threads is estimated to have been downloaded 150 million times in just under two weeks.
