YouTube TV is one of the best live TV streaming services you can subscribe to as a simple alternative to cable. Whether you want to stream live sports, family entertainment, or local news, YouTube TV lets subscribers access an impressive list of channels. The base plan costs $73 a month and has over 100 live channels.

Subscribers can create up to six accounts per household and store hours upon hours of entertainment with unlimited DVR space for each user. You can also choose from a variety of add-on packages to unlock even more entertainment options, with prices ranging from an extra $2 to $30 a month. Many add-ons even offer free trials, so you can test some services before paying more.
