Gareth Edwards’ new film, The Creator, is filled with nods and winks to all of your favorite sci-fi movies: Star Wars, 2001, Aliens, Blade Runner, Akira, Ghost in the Shell, you name it. Some filmmakers might be coy about that fact, but Edwards is 100% unapologetic about it.
