Mortgage rates ended the week a little lower than the week before, with 30-year mortgage rates hovering just below 7%. 

Rates are still elevated overall, and they may stay high for at least the next couple of months. The good news is that as inflation slows, mortgage rates should fall. We'll likely see mortgage rates go down in 2024 a bit more substantially.
