Among the many great deals from Amazon are an all-time low, $402 discount on a 65-inch Hisense QLED screen, and a $1,302 discount on an 85-inch Sony X90L QLED TV. Super thin TVs can sometimes mean there's not a lot of decent room for audio, and the speakers can be a bit weak or "tinny." A soundbar can help add some oomph to your cinematic audio or help out with poor sound mixing on movies and TV shows (don't worry, we're all having to put subtitles on more than we want to), but a soundbar can help there too. And there are some big discounts today.
If you're buying a new TV today, you might find you don't need one, especially if you're upgrading from an older, more budget model. I went from a standard Ambilight Philips model in the UK to a rather lovely LG C2, and the audio improvement was immense, so I'm passing on a soundbar for now.
