An iPhone 15, Samsung Galaxy fold, and Samsung Galaxy S23 phones against an orange gradient background

AT&T's Black Friday sale features deals on phones from Apple, Samsung, Google, and Motorola. The best offers are for Apple's iPhone 15 models and Samsung's Galaxy S23 series, as well as the Galaxy Z foldable. You'll see opportunities to upgrade for free or very cheap, but carrier deals for phones aren't usually simple discounts.

In AT&T's case, you usually have to trade in your current phone for the new one you want to buy. You also invariably have to sign up to AT&T's premium unlimited plans if you're not on one already. It's also not uncommon to find out that you'll need to commit to service for a period of time in order to get the full discount, as the value is issued as bill credits over the life of your service. For instance, AT&T offers hefty discounts on several phones when you opt-in for its 36-monthly payment plan. These kinds of deals aren't as ideal as those with trade-in offers, as you're on the hook for three years with the phone you bought.

But if you know you'll be with them for the long run, you might as well jump on these Black Friday AT&T deals if you're due for an upgrade. Keep reading for the prices we're seeing.

Best Black Friday iPhone 15 deals from AT&T

You can trade in your current phone (or any old phone you might have lying around) with a trade-in value of at least $130 with AT&T to get $830 credit towards an iPhone 15. For the iPhone 15 Pro models, you can get up to $1,000 for an old phone with a trade-in value of at least $230.

You can check your current/old phone's trade-in value on the phone's product page on AT&T's website under the "Trade in and save" section when you scroll down.

Just note that you're tied to a 36-month contract for the offer. If you leave AT&T before the 36 months are up, you'll have to pay the remaining balance of the phone.

Best Black Friday Samsung Galaxy deals from AT&T

Similarly to its iPhone deals, AT&T is offering up to $1,000 for trade-ins on Samsung Galaxy phones. You can check the trade-in value of your current (or old) phone on the product page of the Samsung Galaxy phone you want to buy.

These deals on AT&T are better than Samsung's own trade-in offers, so it's worth going through the carrier if you're an AT&T customer, or looking to switch to AT&T. Just note that you're tied to a 36-month contract for the offer. If you leave AT&T before the 36 months are up, you'll have to pay the remaining balance of the phone.

Keep in mind that the Galaxy S23 series is almost a year old, and Samsung is likely to reveal its next generation of flagship Galaxy S phones early next year, either in January or February. Also keep in mind that Samsung has extremely generous trade-in offers for its Galaxy S phones at launch. Unless you need a new phone now, you're better off waiting for the next generation.

Samsung's Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5 foldable are more recent, and AT&T's deal is a great way to get a hold of them, as long as you're already on an eligible unlimited plan, or willing to sign up for one.

Best Black Friday Google Pixel deals from AT&T

AT&T is offering discounts for the recent Google Pixel 8 phones within its 36-month payment plans. In total, AT&T's monthly payment discounts amount to a $380 discount for the Pixel 8, and a $500 discount for the Pixel 8 Pro, as long as you sign up for AT&T's 36-month payment plan.

You can get additional credit by trading in your old phone with AT&T's usual trade-in program. However, the trade-in values aren't stellar. The best trade-in value we saw was $600 for a 1TB iPhone 14 Pro Max in good condition, and values quickly drop off the older your phone model gets, especially if it's an Android.

Best Black Friday Motorola deals from AT&T

Like its Google Pixel deals, AT&T is only offering discounts on its 36-month payment plan for Motorola's Razr and Razr Plus. In total, the monthly payment discounts bring the Motorola Razr's price down to $72 (from $660) and the Razr Plus to $180 (from $1,000).
