Mortgage rates have dropped quite a bit so far this month, with 30-year mortgage rates hovering right around 7% after spiking close to 8% in October. 

Rates fell in response to economic data showing that inflation is slowing and the labor market is cooling. As things continue to normalize, mortgage rates should continue to trend down.
