- X CEO Linda Yaccarino quoted Mariah Carey's latest video in yet another cringey tweet.
- "Pumpkin Spice Latte, I don't know her! It's @MariahCarey TIME!!!"
- Yaccarino's post comes a day after Elon Musk got into some dicey topics on Joe Rogan's podcast.
X CEO Linda Yaccarino — who tweets like your aunt texts — has officially announced the beginning of the holiday season by quote-tweeting a video from Mariah Carey.
It's the latest in a long line of posts from the former NBC Universal executive that prove you apparently don't need to be an expert tweeter to run X, formerly Twitter.
The post? "Pumpkin Spice Latte, I don't know her! It's @MariahCarey TIME!!!"
The post is giving divorced dad energy. And it comes the day after her boss Elon Musk talked about the "woke mind virus" on an episode of the Joe Rogan Experience — treading into dicey territory on the Covid vaccine, George Soros, and more.
Yaccarino has been in this position before — cheerfully tweeting while Musk makes headlines with his erratic statements.
Her tweet references Pumpkin Spice Lattes, a drink commonly associated with autumn, and Mariah Carey's iconic quote — "I don't know her" — that she uttered when asked about Jennifer Lopez in an early 2000s interview for German TV.

Carey's video shows a handful of Halloween characters unfreezing her from a block of ice on November 1, signaling the transition from Halloween season into the holiday season.
Freed by the ghouls of her frozen prison, the five-time Grammy winner belts out a snippet of her signature holiday song, "All I Want For Christmas Is You."
Yaccarino is tweeting away as her company is turning in numbers that aren't exactly burning up the charts: X has bled nearly $70 million a day since Musk's takeover — slashing its value to just $19 billion from the $44 billion Musk paid to take Twitter private last year.

Last week — to mark one year since Musk has owned the company — Yaccarino took to a blog post — not X — to declare that X's "future is bright." (She didn't mention Mariah Carey.)
Meanwhile, Yaccarino posted a few days after the one-year Musk-iversary — a year when Twitter slashed its workforce and usage of X fell by "every measure."
But Yaccarino apparently had wintery delights on the mind.
On October 29, she tweeted "wow" about a picture of the northern lights in Norway, tweeted by a verified account @TheFigen, who posts various aggregated viral videos. @TheFigen's video credits another aggregator Twitter account, "Captivating Facts Hub."
