One of the co-defendants in the racketeering trial of rapper Young Thug was stabbed several times by a detainee at a notorious Georgia jail that's long been plagued by filthy conditions and violence, according to officials.

Shannon Stillwell, one of the five people on trial with the Grammy-winning rapper, was attacked overnight at Atlanta's infamous Fulton County Jail, a spokesperson for the Fulton County Sheriff's Office, which runs the facility, confirmed to Business Insider on Monday.
