The May jobs report came in way hotter than expected, with the US adding 272,000 jobs while the unemployment rate slightly ticked up to 4.0%.

The job-growth forecast was 182,000, according to Investing.com. April's increase was revised from 175,000 to 165,000. March's increase was revised from 315,000 to 310,000, as noted in the news release from the Bureau of Labor Statistics on Friday.
