I've worked at Costco for 18 years. Here are 10 of the best things I'm seeing on the shelves this month.

As someone who's worked at Costco for 18 years, the selection of seasonal items and rotating stock never ceases to amaze me. The store, which is a leading retailer in customer satisfaction, offers great deals on items year-round and seems to have something for everybody.

This August, the warehouse is selling several items to close out the summer season and welcome fall. Here are 10 items I recommend checking out at Costco this month.

The Myprotein Clear whey-isolate lemonade is great to drink before or after a workout.

Each serving of the sugar-free isolate, which tastes just like lemonade, has 80 calories and 20 grams of protein. To use it, add a scoop to a bottle of water, shake, and drink.

The Myprotein whey isolate is usually $30, but it's on sale for $21 at my store until August 18.

The Nike men's crew-neck sweatshirts are hot-sellers at Costco.

The Kirkland Signature tempura-shrimp taco kit is one of the newest premade items in the deli section.

This meal comes with everything you need to make tacos, including tail-off breaded shrimp, a cilantro-lime crema, shredded vegetables, 12 corn and flour tortillas, and pico de gallo.

The kit costs $6 per pound, which comes out to just under $20.

Welcome fall with Halloween- and harvest-themed decorative pillows.

This month, you can prepare for the fall season with Halloween- and harvest-themed decorative pillows.

Shoppers can choose from several designs, including ghost, pumpkin, batty-moon (a pattern featuring black bats on an orange background), and Scottish-harvest (a pattern featuring colorful pumpkins on a cream background) pillows.

These pillows can easily be spot-cleaned with a wet cloth and cost $10 each at my store.

This Hydro Flask two-pack, priced at $50, is a deal you won't want to miss.

This particular set includes one 40-ounce all-around traveler tumbler with a straw and a 32-ounce wide-mouth bottle. These stainless-steel bottles are great for keeping drinks cold and are dishwasher-safe.

My warehouse is selling black, white, and blue Hydro Flask sets.

The orange-Dreamsicle cheesecake is the perfect sweet bakery find for the end of summer.

The Costco bakery has released another summer item: the orange-Dreamsicle cheesecake. This cheesecake is different from any other dessert I've seen at Costco.

It has an orange-vanilla batter, a sweet graham crust, and a creamy whipped topping. At my store, each cheesecake is $23.

If you're looking for a good dip, look no further. Rojo's street-corn dip, made with corn, green chiles, and cheddar and cotija cheese, is full of flavor.

The mildly spicy dip can be served hot or cold. It comes in a resealable tub and can be found in Costco's deli coolers — each container is $9 at my warehouse.

Get into the Halloween spirit with a 20-inch "The Nightmare Before Christmas" Squishmallow plush toy.

These 20-inch "The Nightmare Before Christmas" Squishmallow plush toys are inspired by characters from the Halloween movie and are made with polyester and spandex filling.

Customers can choose from Jack Skellington, Sally, Oogie Boogie, and Zero Squishmallows. At my store, each plush toy is $33.

Adidas sneakers would be a great gift for students going back to school.

Back-to-school season is here, and Costco has a great deal on men's and women's Adidas sneakers.

My warehouse carries women's sneakers in a pink-and-black design and men's shoes in black and white colors. The Adidas sneakers are normally $35 but are on sale for $28 at my warehouse until August 25.
