Zac Efron was taken to a hospital on Aug 2 after being involved in a "minor swimming incident" while at a villa in Ibiza, Spain, a representative for the actor told TMZ.

The actor was pulled out of the water by two people working at the villa, TMZ reported, citing unnamed sources with direct knowledge of the incident.

The representative for the 36-year-old actor told the outlet that Efron was taken to the hospital as a "precautionary measure."

He is now said to be "fine," the report said.

Representatives for Efron did not respond to a request for comment from Business Insider, which was sent outside regular working hours.
