UK-based scaleup Beam, born from the recent merger of offshore tech companies Rovco and Vaarst, has launched the “world’s first” autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) driven by AI. The mini-sub can perform complex underwater tasks with no human intervention whatsoever.
