AT&T revealed over the weekend that the data of 73 million customers, including social security numbers, had been compromised in a data breach—a hack some media outlets state was reported back in 2021.

When the Key Bridge in Baltimore collapsed in the early morning hours of Tuesday, there was almost immediately chatter on social media about potential conspiracy theories. AT&T is sorry for the recent outage that left some customers without service for up to 12 hours. To make up for it, the company will give those affected a $5 credit that will count towards their next bill, though that doesn’t seem like nearly enough for many ticked-off AT&T users.
