Uber is reportedly exploring the idea of purchasing Expedia, one of the largest travel booking companies in the world, according to the Financial Times. Expedia, which is valued at $20 billion and which reported its highest-ever annual revenue in 2023, will be the company's biggest acquisition, if the deal does indeed push through. The Times says it's very early days, however, and Uber hasn't even made a formal offer for the travel company yet.

John Lewis, a high-end department store chain in the UK, briefly listed a new Kindle that's not available from anybody else. Australian gamers won't have to buy Steam Deck at exorbitant prices from a reseller anymore or to import them into the country with help from a friend overseas. At PAX Australia, Valve has announced that it will start selling the handheld PC gaming device in the country starting in November. Currently, the Steam Deck is still only available in the US, Canada, UK and EU, as well as in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong via Komodo's website.
