Nothing is spinning off its budget brand CMF into an independent subsidiary, according to a report by TechCrunch. India will serve as the newly-formed company's headquarters for manufacturing and R&D, thanks to a partnership with one of the country's telecom operators. Nothing says this venture will create over 1,800 jobs in the country.

Qualcomm has unveiled its new Snapdragon X Series chips for laptops, in addition to its new system-on-a-chip for flagship phones. The Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme chip meant for "ultra-premium" Windows 11 laptops are designed to handle "complex, expert-level workloads" and to enable fast AI processing, as well as a multi-day battery life.

Sony's lineup of gaming-focused audio devices is growing with the addition of the PlayStation Pulse Elevate wireless speakers. They work with PC, Mac, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation Portal, and they support Bluetooth and Sony's proprietary PlayStation Link Wireless connection scheme. The Pulse Elevate speakers come in white or black, and they're due to hit the market in 2026. There's no word on price just yet.
