Lyft, whose CEO David Risher is pictured, is introducing in-app ads, following a similar move by Uber earlier this year.
  • Lyft's app will now feature ads when a user is booking a ride and during the trip.
  • Its main competitor, Uber, launched video ads on several of its apps back in June.
  • Advertisers will be able to target riders based on location, payment type, and lifestyle.
