Tickets for Beyoncé's Renaissance tour are highly sought after and can get expensive. But there's a way to get cheaper tickets — if you don't mind not being able to fully see the performance.

The Beyhive fanbase is buzzing, some angrily, after "no view listening-only" tickets were posted to Ticketmaster. The seats for those tickets are located in places in the stadium where the view of the stage is obstructed in some way and can cost between $100-$200, according to screenshots shared online.

"Listening only" tickets for Beyoncé's Renaissance Tour at Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey were on sale for $157, according to a screenshot shared to Twitter, now called X, by @ZackRussell64.

"@Ticketmaster what the hell is this??" they wrote in their tweet. "nearly $200 (with taxes/fees) for a "LISTENING ONLY SEAT" for @Beyonce's show tonight in NJ??? Explain this. Quickly. Expeditiously."

One TikTok user, @Twinkabellesmom posted her view, or lack thereof, at the Metlife Stadium show. From the seat, much of the stage is blocked by equipment, making it difficult to see much of the concert.

But not everyone who bought the tickets had a bad time.

Ryan Bloomquist, who was also at the New Jersey show, posted a photo of the view from his "listening only" seat on social media.

Bloomquist's seat was to the side of the stage. He told Insider that he believes that the ticket being marked "no view listening only" was just so the venue could "cover its bases."

"I wasn't too worried about it. I just wanted to be there and surrounded by that Beyonce energy," he said in an interview.

Bloomquist said his view was partially blocked by a VIP box, but since he was standing and dancing during the performance, he had a "perfect view." He told Insider that he would've been upset if he truly had no view, but this wasn't the case.

Insider reached out to Ticketmaster and Beyoncé's team for comment on the "listening only" tickets but did not receive a response ahead of publication.

Some Taylor Swift fans, or Swifties as they're called, have been "Taylor-gating" amid the Eras Tour frenzy and standing outside of the stadiums to listen to their favorite artist perform. Bloomquist said he respects Taylor Swift fans who listen to her concerts from the parking lot, but that he wouldn't have it in him to do the same for the Beyoncé show.

Like Swift's Eras Tour, Beyoncé's Renaissance Tour is one of the most talked-about tours of the summer. Forbes estimates that the Renaissance tour could earn between $275 million and $2.4 billion by the end of September. The tour began in Europe back in May before coming to North America in July. The tour is named after the singer's seventh album, "Renaissance," which was released in 2022.
