A fake press release claiming that investment firm Ripplewood is putting $1 billion into OpenAI appeared on the website of the London Stock Exchange on Monday.

The New York Times is making it clear that the AI industry won’t be given free rein to pilfer the newspaper’s content to train algorithms.
