The gold plated pocket watch belonging to an ill fated passenger on the Titanic, which stopped as the ship sank in April 1912, which is to be auctioned along with other artifacts today by Henry Aldridge & Son at the British Titanic Society Convention, Southampton. *The item was rescued from the body of passenger John Gill, 24, from Somerset and is expected to fetch 25,000.
