HBO really cares about the numbers for The Last of Us, apparently.

HBO has another bonafide hit on its hand with the recent release of The Last of Us, the post-apocalyptic TV show based on the hit video game series produced by Naughty Dog.

Annie Wersching recently passed away at the age of 45. Per her friends and family, and confirmed by Deadline, the Star Trek and Timeless actor was diagnosed with cancer in the summer of 2020.

The Last of Us is already proving to be a fungi-laden hit for HBO, so to the surprise of no one, the network has announced that the series will return for a second season.
