Jujutsu Kaisen wrapped up earlier this week after a long and fairly grim season. You won’t be surprised to learn that it’s got another season in the works, once again courtesy of MAPPA.
There is a lot going on in our latest look at Suicide Squad Isekai, the DC Comics anime that, well, is a Suicide Squad isekai—the popular portal fantasy subgenre about taking people out of their own time and place and dumping them in another world.
For years, animation studio MAPPA has been noteworthy for the quality of the anime it puts out, which includes widely beloved shonen like Attack on Titan, Vinland Saga, and Jujutsu Kaisen.
Jujutsu Kaisen’s second season has been airing since July, and its first batch of episodes focused on then-young Jujutsu Sorcerers Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto.
