A former US intelligence officer believes he may have found the wreckage of Amelia Earhart's plane. His team used a $9 million submersible that picked up a sonar image during a 100-day expedition.

All 379 passengers and crew members of a Japan Airlines flight survived a crash at Tokyo's busiest airport, evacuating the plane before it was engulfed in flames. The commercial plane collided with a coast guard aircraft, killing five on board.
